Speech Language Pathologist

With 15 years of clinical outpatient experience, Caitlyn Barron is a dedicated and compassionate pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in treating children from birth to 18 years of age. A graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (2010), Caitlyn has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality care and fostering meaningful communication for children with a wide range of speech and language disorders.

Caitlyn holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and has received multiple ACE awards for exceeding continuing education requirements. As a member of the Apraxia Kids Speech-Language Pathologist Directory, Caitlyn has undergone extensive training in Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) to provide evidence-based interventions to children struggling with this complex speech disorder.

In addition to CAS, Caitlyn is More Than Words® Hanen certified, specializing in supporting children with pragmatic language delays and social communication difficulties. Caitlyn has completed training in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding therapy and in Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMD). She works with children to address both speech and feeding challenges in a holistic and child-friendly approach.

Caitlyn has a passion for working with children who struggle to communicate intelligibly and is deeply committed to helping these children find their voices. Throughout the years, Caitlyn has trained numerous new graduates, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of excellence in pediatric speech-language pathology.

Outside of her professional work, Caitlyn enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. A lover of reading and cooking, she values creating family memories through shared activities and finding joy in life outside of the therapy room.

With a compassionate and individualized approach, Caitlyn strives to empower every child to achieve their communication goals and improve their quality of life.
