Rachel is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for supporting women as they journey toward their whole selves and healthiest lives, and preparing and equipping couples for satisfying committed relationships.
After 10 years practicing, Rachel recalls all of the many things that led her here; life and a heart to create something good from hardships, to walk alongside others, because we are not meant to do it alone. Rachel further explains, "It was my passage into motherhood, however, that honed my “why.” That experience illuminated the often unmet needs to be seen, validated, prioritized, and appropriately cared for, personally, relationally, and systematically. Those needs I honor with reverence, empathy, and authenticity, whatever my clients may be braving.”
Rachel received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis on Sociology and a Master’s of Arts in Counseling from Oral Roberts University. Distinguishable trainings/certifications include PREPARE/ENRICH for premarital counseling, as well as couples counseling, and Perinatal Mental Health specialization from Postpartum Support International. Rachel utilizes a variety of counseling modalities to suit the unique needs of each client.
Outside of being a therapist, Rachel is a professional development educator, an insatiable learner, a bold advocate. Rachel adds “I am also a fierce mother whose hair is always a mess in the school drop-off line."
Rachel’s favorite coping skills are running, walking barefoot outside, and bringing levity to life with “The Office“ quotes.
Rachel sincerely believes it is her privilege to serve you.
